In this hands-on workshop, you’ll participate in a reflective “composting” exercise designed to uncover what truly brings meaning to your work and your life. By digging into the experiences, values, and motivations that nourish your sense of purpose, you’ll generate the raw material needed to craft a clear, authentic personal mission statement. With your mission as your compass, you’ll learn practical strategies for putting it to work—using it to guide decisions, pursue goals with intention, and support healthier work–life balance. We’ll also explore how a well-articulated mission can strengthen your personal statements, grant proposals, and application materials by grounding them in genuine purpose and clarity.
