AI-assisted grading is often discussed as a way to ease the burden of grading, but that efficiency can come with a cost. This session explores when time savings may genuinely benefit faculty and students versus when it might mask new labor or negatively impact the teaching and learning process. The goal is to help faculty thoughtfully weigh risks and possibilities, as well as consider what sustainable workloads might look like as AI becomes more embedded in teaching and learning.
